Sample Policies and Procedures
A blank page can be a daunting place to begin writing anything. We have a number of sample policies and procedures drawn from a number of different sources that you might like to base your own policies on. From forms to use for trips to the beach to risk assessment advice, to sample contracts and role descriptions to use with volunteers. We have samples of them all.
This is a list of what we have - be warned. It is not comprehensive, and some are in books that are for reference only, so you may have to come in to look at them!
- Risk Assessments
- Job Descriptions (full time, employed, volunteer, youth and children's, young leaders)
- Contracts
- Job Adverts
- Consent Forms
- Publicity Materials
- Data Protection Consent
- Registration Forms
- Disciplinary Procedures
- Internet Usage Policy
All the best policies cannot simply be copied out of a book or website and then have your logo stuck on them – they must be worked through and understood for your own individual situation. Only you can do that! What we offer is a place to begin, but certainly not a policy that is directly applicable to you. We are happy to have a conversation with you to help you to apply the principles in the samples to your own parish or setting. Get in touch with Alison for advice relating to policies for work with children, or David for youth.
