Spiritual Direction is concerned with a person's experience of their relationship with God, often resulting from their approaches to, and discipline of, prayer. It is an invitation to draw closer to God and develop and deepen their walk with him.

Spiritual Direction could be described as 'help given by one Christian to another' to help them in discerning how God may be communicating with them and inviting them to a deeper intimacy with him, and to live out the consequences of that transforming love in their daily life. 

A Spiritual Director is someone who has had training and experience in sensitive, patient listening in accompanying others on their spiritual journey. What it is not, is one person telling another what to do or how to live!!

Spiritual Direction is a ministry and those who offer it have felt drawn and equipped by God as they seek sensitively to be available to those requesting direction.
