How to Apply For Funding

The Foundation's resources are modest and most of its grants are small (under £4,000). In some circumstances, it is able to make a larger grant or a grant commitment over several years. Please note that the Foundation's specific interest is in projects run by groups based in the area of the diocese, and in projects that are faith-based or faith-linked in some way. In 2011 the Foundation set up the Bishop of Guildford’s Community Fund to facilitate the management of its grant-making system by the Community Foundation for Surrey (CFS). Applicants should contact CFS on 01483 409230 or go to its website at www.communityfoundationsurrey.org.uk/grant.html Decisions on grants will continue to be made by a Panel consisting principally of members appointed by the board of trustees of the Bishop of Guildford's Foundation .
