Storyboard is a 'one-stop' Christian news agency helping people to get their stories in the media - print and broadcast, local and national.

This incredibly practical website will help you get Christian news stories into the print and broadcast media, either locally or nationally, as appropriate.

It's a 'one stop' Christian news agency designed to serve Churches and Christian organisations of all kinds across the Guildford Anglican Diocesan area. But it's not exclusive: our editors are more than happy to facilitate stories emerging from other Christian denominations too.

This facility was developed as 'The Unauthorised Version' by Churches Media Trust in Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire in conjunction with the Jerusalem Trust, and its roll-out in Surrey and NE Hants is the first of a number of extensions currently planned.

How does it work?
To get your news to interested journalists, follow these steps:
1. Go to the 'Contribute a Story' section
2. Tell your story in the boxes provided, in 'raw' form'. You don't have to be a great writer, the bones of the story will do.
3. Press 'Send to Editors'.

Your story has now disappeared 'behind' the site and will be picked up by one of our experienced editors. The editor will go through it, ensure that it's in the right form for publication and they'll check it out with you - maybe clarifying points or adding information that's been forgotten or which would enhance the story.

The story can be 'embargoed' for release at a particular time to suit you, or it can be released right away - straight onto the desks of those most likely to be interested. You will receive a copy, together with a list of the media outlets that it was sent to, so you can follow up who has used it.

It really is as simple as that!
